Community Outreach

The PLGA – Ladies' Nine encourages our members to support both community and charitable causes. We provide opportunities for members to get involved locally and nationally throughout the season.

We are very pleased to announce that this year we will support the community services of SERVE, Inc, which stands for Securing Emergency Resources through Volunteer Efforts. Their vision is: "No person in our community will have to be homeless, no child will have to go to bed hungry and no family will lose their dignity or let their dreams die because of poverty."

To continue an outstanding Ladies' Nine tradition, we will also be supporting the Brittany Leap fundraiser and the NBIA Disorders Association which has been working since 1996 to raise money for research, public awareness campaigns, and to provide support to affected individuals and families.

We annually participate in the Susan G. Komen "Rally for the Cure." This golf event supports breast cancer awareness and the campaign to promote the life-saving message of early detection to help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
